OVERVIEW
Carstensz Pyramid, standing at 4,884 meters, is the highest mountain in Indonesia and within the Australia-Oceania region, making it one of the Seven Summits. Located in the heart of Papua Island, it offers a challenging and rewarding climb, renowned among mountaineers worldwide.

The climb to Carstensz Pyramid involves navigating through tropical jungles and meadows to reach the basecamp. The final ascent includes scaling a 500-meter cliff with fixed ropes, providing a thrilling and technical climbing experience.
Due to its remote location, access to the area is often challenging. However, our program features a helicopter charter, making the expedition more accessible and significantly shortening travel time. Surrounding Carstensz Pyramid are other peaks such as Puncak Jaya (4,864 m), Soemantri Peak (4,870 m), and East Carstensz Peak (4,813 m), all of which are still partially covered by ice, though it is rapidly diminishing.
